About

A database is trusted for what it survives and what it can prove.

UltraFabric is a new distributed database built from the storage engine up, by a small engineering team in India. We publish what we measured, mark what is planned, and do not ship a feature that bypasses the verifier.

Why

Why build another database

Because the promise every multi-tenant platform makes first, that a tenant sees only its own rows, is still a filter someone remembered to write.

Isolation should be checked, not configured

In most databases the tenant boundary is a predicate the optimizer may move. UltraFabric makes it a property every plan must prove on the data node, whoever produced the plan.

Speed should be measured, not promised

Every number on this site names its benchmark report, host and tool. We missed our own analytic gate in October 2026 and published that too.

Design should be specified before it is built

The system and the plan language have written specifications with proof obligations. Early-access teams receive them.

Gates, not dates

Each phase ends with a gate that must pass before the next begins. The roadmap gives estimates and revises them at every gate.

How we work

Principles we publish and hold ourselves to

Claims policy

A claim appears on this site only when the repository contains the measurement or the test behind it. Indicative numbers are labelled as such.

Nothing bypasses the verifier

Internal jobs, caches and future learned optimizers are plan authors like any client. There is no privileged path to a row.

Honest about gaps

Open items, side channels and unmet gates are listed on the status page and in the security model, not hidden in release notes.

Self-hosted first

The first deployment model runs on your hardware with no runtime call to any cloud. The managed service follows replication and backups.

Research with proofs

The verifier's core theorem is mechanised in Lean 4. Papers describing the mechanisms are shared with early-access teams after filing.

A person answers

Every address on this site reaches an engineer on the project, not a ticket queue.

Company

Who is behind it

UltraFabric is developed by Freaquer Corporation, a software company in India that builds platforms for public-sector and industrial operators.

The team

A small group of systems engineers working on the storage engine, the plan language and verifier, and the SQL gateway, with formal methods support for the proofs. We grow the team as early access grows.
